
Ingredients
enough for 2 portions
- 1 flaky pastry (store-bought, refrigerated)
Sauce
- 50g sour cream
- 1 tsp sweet mustard
- salt
- pepper
Toppings
- 1 ripe pear, cut in half, core removed, thinly sliced
- 150g goat camembert or 1 roll of goat cheease camembert, cut into thin slices
- 3 dates, roughly chopped
To serve
- 2-3 walnuts, peeled, roughly chopped
- 1 stem fresh rosemary, stem removed
Flaky pastry with Pears and Goat Cheese
Method
- Remove the flaky pastry from the fridge (do not roll it out yet, just let it warm up).
- Preheat the oven to 220° Celsius.
- Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- Roll out the flaky pastry on a baking sheet (and add a parchment paper if not already included in the store-bought one).
- Distribute first the Sauce and then the Toppings evenly on the flaky pastry.
- When the oven is preheated, bake the flaky pastry for 20 minutes until it is golden brown.
- Remove the flaky pastry from the oven and spinkle with walnuts and fresh rosemary.
- Cut it into about 8 pieces, serve immediately.
Tip: Freezing fresh herbs
After harvesting fresh herbs, you can freeze them and remove just the right amount, when you need it.
